After just over a month, our Great Horned Owls’ eggs finally hatched into 3 cute white bundles of feathers!! The wildlife managed to survive our weird weather, except for the Killdeer eggs which froze in -12C overnight temps. They were buried in snow so Mama couldn’t protect them. The ducks are happily swimming around our ponds or still walking around looking for good nest sites. We see 2 Geese every day so hopefully they will also nest here. It’s always nice to see the White Tail Deer visit and rest under our trees. Lots of song birds are passing through as well.
