June 27 – Yesterday we went on a hike across the line to Many Glaciers in Glacier National Park with our friends Barry and Leona. We decided on the Cracker Lake Trail but we did not go the whole 9km to the lake, we went 4.29km (total 8.58km, figured that was far enough). It was so beautiful in the woods with a lot of ground vegetation and wildflowers. We got views of the lake and mountains. We even saw a moose! Unfortunately I could not take many photos as my battery died! This is the first time that has ever happened to me. I should have known better than to buy a generic battery rather than a Nikon one. Time to purchase a 2nd battery.

I also added some home photos of Goldfinch, Killdeer and this morning I saw a Marmot!
