I sure am seeing a lot of great birds during this spring migration and seeing the return of our summer birds. The Swainson’s Hawks finally arrived and are rebuilding one of their former nests. I’ve heard a Meadowlark and he finally got close enough for me to photograph. Not a great shot of the Yellow-Headed Blackbird. Another rare sighting of 2 Bluejays. We hear but rarely see the Sandhill Cranes. Mama Owl finally showed me her 2 chicks. Our resident Skunk is still here!
I love spring migration!

Great shots and lovely birds!
Always so relaxing and impressive to see your latest photos! It’s incredible the variety of birds you have on your property. The spring migration is an amazing phenomena of nature isn’t it? Thanks for the lovely break from preparing Powerpoints for Externship in Switzerland.
