We see Goldfinches in the spring and fall when they migrate north and south. They are very pretty birds and love the bird feeders and sunflowers. I discovered that they will stay longer when there is a bird feeder. The brighter ones are the males and the duller females. In 2016, 2017, and 2018 I have not seen as many as usual. Other people have also commented on that. I wonder why. We have seen a few more Goldfinches in 2019. There were a lot more Goldfinches in 2022, there were 20+ on the dandelions and on the feeder.
