We have already seen a few different Hawks this year. During the winter months, we see Rough-Legged Hawks. 2 Red-tailed Hawks are building a nest in our evergreen tree and we had a rare visit of a Coopers Hawk. The Swainson’s Hawks nested but something happened to their chicks – we are not sure who killed them. The Red-Tailed Chicks (2) are doing very well. They’ve left but they occasionally come back for a visit.
