Saw this beautiful bird for the first time on March 29. He’s east of his usual range from the Rocky Mountains. They prefer coniferous woods. I keep wondering if changes in our climate are causing birds to extend their range.
Updates: it’s April 9th and I see him every day, all by himself. He does hang out with the Robins and Juncos. April 12th – still here!
