Another year to watch our majestic owls create a new family. We noticed Mamma on the nest on March 13 – they waited for the cold snap to end. Our youngster from last year did not leave until well into 2019. I wonder where he went.
May 6: Today I saw 3 chicks on the nest with Mama!!!
June 3: Owlets branching and taking short flites.
June 24: Lots of comical activities with our 3 chicks.They are very active at dawn and dusk.
August 20: Still seeing our 3 young chicks plus the 2 adults. Some nights they are quite vocal.
