Our adult Great Horned Owls that have been with us since we moved here in 2007 both died this past autumn. Colin from Coaldale Birds of Prey released 3 of their rehabilitated owls on our property last December 13. One stayed and the other 2 settled at our neighbours. We saw him/her until just after the cold snap in January, then no sign until about a month later. Then we started seeing 2! They hung around together, resting on tree branches during the day, then on March 19, she started nesting. We have a perfect view from our dining room window with the telescope. We are so pleased and hope to get young ones in April.

It is so nice to see that you can now follow your 2 new owls from the beginning. We all enjoyed your other Great Horned Owls for the past 16 years. Thanks for your photos.
