We lost both of our adult Great Horned Owls this fall. We think one from old age as she just fell out of the tree and died. The other was killed as Waldy found parts of the owl scattered about. Colin Weir from Coaldale Birds of Prey came and we released 3 Great Horned Owls. It was a fantastic experience. We saw one the next day resting in a tree. Found 1 the next day. Good Evening Marlene. What a beautiful looking bird, didn’t realize they were that big but when I saw launching one, well they are. We won’t have any snow by Monday. Its almost all gone. We are fine. Cemetery was closed on time but funeral homes kept send burials my way. We close on 15th Nov and I go back to the limousine work, twice I was called back. Good thing I wasn’t driving. We just had our house rewired and we were fortunate that this house didn’t burn. When I look back to about Sept., that is when the breakers started tripping. Last warning we got was the smell of something that I had thought was Diane had used a new oven cleaner. Main shut off was arcing & had started to burn 1 of the 2 lines coming in to the house. My brother in-law is an electrical contractor and he got the call. I hope you & Waldi are doing okay and healthy as can be. For me, its all I want & for those around me. Merry Christmas to you and Waldi.
