As usual we’ve had an abundance of wildlife to keep up entertained. During a very cold spell in January, Waldy went outside to blow and watch bubbles freeze. The bees came out during the warm spells and munched on bird seed. Over this winter we have seen huge Sharptail Grouse flocks with 50+ birds. It is very unusual for us to see a large herd of Elk this far from the mountains.

Lovely pics as usual. Lots of wildlife. Your one unknown bird could be a young American Goldfinch. Hard to say.
Love the bald eagle photos and the one of the deer scooting under the fence. And the icicle one is fantastic! What a wildlife feast you have every season in your yard!
Your foto taking is fantastic & what you have all around is that too. We haven’t had a normal Winter, not nearly cold enough & snowfall is way off the norm. None on the ground, 42degF. We are set to leave for Varadero, Cuba on Sunday, so looking to going back again. We’ve had a slower time in driving the limousines this Winter. Not nearly as busy last year & that is fine. If weather continues, I can see going back the Cemetery earlier. Health is all good for both of us & I hope the same can be said for you & Waldi. Bye for now. Dave
Happy Saturday. I marvel at the varied wildlife that marches through or stays on your property. You bring it to life with your wonderful photos. The sun is finally shining here for the first time in a few days. Plus not snowing!! Maybe we are finally going to enjoy spring. Are you/Waldy watching the eclipse tomorrow…partial one?
