2013 – Took this lovey Jay when we were out cross country skiing. They are not shy, eating right out of our hands.

In 1957 AOU (American Ornithologists’ Union) changed the name of the Canada Jay to Gray Jay. This past spring of 2018, AOU voted to restore the name to Canada Jay, putting an end to the decades long debate.
