Sept 13 – woke up this morning to frost on the ground and snow in the mountains. Not surprised as it went down to -2 last night and only up to 4 yesterday while it was raining here. We had to put a heater in the greenhouse so my tomatoes would not freeze. ( Photo above is a view of the mountains from our place.)

It could be worse! Chief Mountain looks nice. The finches, if there are any around, will still enjoy the sunflower seeds from the plant – so, don’t cut them down.
Good Morning Marlene, what great pics of Chief Mountain. Your scenery is something else. You mention frost and that is exactly what I see on the roof tops here. It was only supposed to hit 6 or 7C last night but weather prediction isn’t exact. Our move is moving along and Saturday we’ll take the beds away from here to sleep there. The process of “here to there” has been going on since the 7th except for a day with the limos in Montreal, a welcome change really. 40 years ago moving was fun, just get a group together with a couple of cars, maybe a p/u truck, a bunch of beer and done on a Saturday. With age the fun has gone somewhere. But the worst is over, just mostly unpacking and putting the stuff where it is supposed to go. Well you have a great day out there. Dave
