At this moment, 1:34 pm, it is cloudy and 17.5C —- amazing!!! Lots of puddles around, but still lots of snow. It never stops but some of the snow/wind effects are quite pretty. The Sparrows, Juncos and Robins are surviving on my bird seed. Even spotted a Golden Eagle in our trees. My friend, Barry, sent me the Borrow’s Goldeneye photos that were swimming in the creek behind his house – a rare sighting, and a Robin photo. We still see the Grouse once in a while. Oh, and my crocuses are starting to show themselves!

Love your juncos. Ours are only slate-colored. All the birds looks pretty. Crazy spring weather. It’s too cold here for this time of year.
I can’t match that but we’ve finally have double digit temps here that rolled in mid-day. Only 12. No snow left and our sap season is done, made maple syrup and made 6 wine kits, all different and I didn’t do it all here, shared that with another brother. Love the smell of the yeast working but Diane doesn’t share that with me! Buds are coming out but the colors are all lifeless beige and brown. Always find April is the dreariest of the months. Last of the brothers has taken his tanks in for the annual inspections and we look forward to middle of May to dive. Yep it will be a bit chilly but I’ll use my dry suit as well as our sister, finally convinced someone to buy one. Diane&I have been fairly busy with the limo service running seniors to their flights out&back into Montreal. Well bye for now and YES to spring.
