I was just eating my soup when I saw something move underneath the tree and was very surprised to see it was our owl with something white in his claws. I think it is our youngster as the adults don’t hunt during the day. Anyone have any idea what it could be? I thought maybe a weasel but it’s too early for them to be white.
We also have a pair of Northern Flickers.

Without getting a closer look, it looks like your owl got a bird. It’s really hard to tell what it is. Nice photos.
Albino Gopher ?
Good one BJ! but, the gophers are all sleeping now.
