Well, as predicted, it is snowing today. Average temperature is supposed to be 16C, it hasn’t been near that since Sept 11th. Yesterday I went out looking for Cranes with my friend and we found a few plus lots of Geese and Ducks resting during their migration south. Also saw a couple of Bald Eagles.
One Response to “Sept 29 -1st Snow !!!”
Good Morning Marlene, snow is something that I’m not ready for or thinking about. It is o/c here and only 45degF and what I don’t like is having to wrap up in a blanket to have my coffee in/under the gazebo as the sun begins to rise. About 2 weeks ago I had to move my orange tree indoors for the season, a sign that summer is done. I’ve had this tree for 23 years and it is quite large and each year has more oranges on it. When it blossoms it smells so nice. The fruit may never be really sweet but they aren’t bad and Diane puts them as wedges in her beer instead of limes. Hope your summer has gone off well, how did those fires affect you? We haven’t heard anything for a couple of months so are they out? I’ve read that Viviane is heading your way for a visit, that must be good as you are so far apart. Well got to run. Have a great day.
