Typical of southern Alberta, we either get rain or snow over the May long weekend. Don’t get me wrong. I am NOT complaining. These 4 days of rain have been wonderful. Everything is green, we have a pond back in our front yard for the ducks to enjoy and no risk of wildfires here. I just wish they got this same rain in Fort McMurray. Our owls are soaking wet!

Glad you finally got rain. We sure could use it here tho it hasn’t been as bad as your place. Your bat seems to like the spot over the door. One was there when I visited last year.
Not a drop of rain around for a long time and our temps are the hottest in Ontario today. Slowly emptying the house into the 1st container, it’ll be taken away on Wednesday. We have our ducks here every morning and they are outside this bedroom window making a racket——where is our supper? Diane is taking care of that as I do this, after all it is I who has to get up at 5am to feed them/shut them up!
I’m not really complaining but we’ve already come to the realization that we’ll lose this when we move and how long will it take to get a new “crowd”? Tomorrow it is off to get my wasp venom shot and then drop some more stuff off at a brother’s place. I’ve had a 10×20 temporary shelter in the bush behind his place for years and it is coming in handy.
