This past weekend we entertained relatives from Germany. On Saturday we took them to Waterton Park, and on Sunday to Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park east of Milk River. They were lucky to have us as their guides as we saw lots of wildlife: Bison, Bears, Pronghorns (I’ve never seen so many in one day along Hwg 501 east of us), and many Gophers which they got a kick out of as we tried not to run over them as they crossed the road. Here’s a very small sample of photos that I took.
- Bison in the Buffalo Paddock just north of Waterton.
- May 2016 – Young Black Bear was eating dandelions along the side of the road.

Yes, your guests must have enjoyed all the wildlife. More than we’ve seen, especially the bison and bear.
