Not much to report since my last posting. We have been having very cold weather 🙁 I knew winter would come eventually. It’s been down to -30C with wind chills to -38C and the snow is starting to pile up. We have another couple of weeks of this to look forward to!! (I don’t reset the date on the weather station as it goes off too often.) Our owls were checking out the nest a couple of weeks ago but I think the cold weather changed their plans.

Nice photos. Stay warm!
Morning, you’ve got the cold and we are waiting for another hit from ole man winter. Kind of nice at the moment but the barometer is beginning to drop. Been following the system on the satellite for last 2 days and now it has moved into the Windsor-Toronto area. Seems poor Viviane has been getting pounded with snow for most of the winter and even before this system arrived she was getting “lake effect” I guess they call it. We have to go to Brockville at noon so I’m sure we’ll be in it and if we get the predicted 25-35cm it should be a wild next 24 hours. Stay warm.
