We took an opportunity to get our 2nd moderna vaccination for covid 19. The Blackfeet Nation in Montana had an excess of vaccinations so decided to share them with their Alberta neighbours. We got to the Carway border at 8am. There was already a line up 2km away from the border. 6 hours later we got our shots. We drove up and received the shots while still in our car, very efficient. It was a very long wait but we are very happy to have done this and are very grateful to have had this opportunity. The following images are from the dash cam in my car.

You guys were quite fortunate to be able to do this being so close to the border, despite the wait. It was well worth it. Keep safe.
Kind and generous that the Blackfeet made this offer to Canadians. That’s how we should all be all the time. How did you learn about this opportunity? Was it only for those living in S. Alberta?
Very happy for you. An early birthday present.
Friends told us. It seems it was for anyone but priority to our natives in Alberta.
Such an amazing opportunity and so fantastic of our neighbours to the south. 👏😍
Hello Marlene. I’d heard that this was to happen&great photos. But it is so treeless, I don’t think I could ever adjust to that. Diane&I got our Phizer shots last Sunday evening. It went quick for those with appointments as we did and showed up on time. Amazing how some don’t think simple rules would apply to them. Glad to see the By-Law Officers were there. We are experiencing some Winter type conditions. O/cast and rain most of the day and it has turned to snow as the temps drop, 35&slipping lower. Wild birds outside are really paying the feeders attention. Changed one feeder for one that only the Yellow Finches can get access to. I started back at the Cemetery this week for the season. My Church has been closed since Covid hit but the grounds still have to be looked after. Well thats it, I hope you&Waldi are staying healthy as we are. Dave
