I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and wish you all a very Happy New Year. Let’s hope this year will be better than the last couple of years have been. Our travel goals are to visit my family in Ontario and Waldy’s in Germany.
December was very cold here, in the -30s c, and January was exceptionally warm. We’ve not had much wildlife visiting us these past 2 months. Have seen our 2 Great Horned Owls on a regular basis. For the first time since living here we had a very large Porcupine! We only saw him once. We took a day trip to Waterton with good intentions to walk but it was very windy so instead went to the Kilmorey for apple crisp and coffee.

Your photos of beautiful winter scenes on your property ALMOST make me like winter again! Snow storm all day yesterday and plummeting temps in YYC are not my fav. thing! Your travel plans for 2023 sound great! Don’t faint at the cost of airfares to Europe but still so worth it.
