Our Great Horned Owls are nesting in a former Magpie nest just south of the house. We’ve had frequent visits from a beautiful Red Fox and a rare visit from a Northern Shrike. We have also never seen so much snow here. With frequent winds, the drifts are huge. Also there has always been snow since the first snowfall in October. Usually it melts away from the warm Chinook winds but they were infrequent this winter. It’s hard to believe spriing is around the corner.

Lots of snow!! You really got some good shots of the N. Shrike & Bald Eagle. The red fox really looks healthy and is a beautiful colour. Thanks for the photos – lovely as always.
Oh my land …. so much snow, that’s crazy. Thanks for those beautiful pictures. Love the fox,
Marlene…like your optimism about spring when I look at all that snow. Oh that red fox is a beauty. I’m enjoying the color green here in Thailand and no complaints about hot and humid.
