Woke up this morning to 10-15cm of snow and it is still snowing. Good thing we harvested the carrots and potatoes on Saturday.. had some really large carrots this year after not getting any last year. The small one in the photo is a regular sized one.

Beautiful!! But it’s OCTOBER!!
Nice fluffy snow but I’m sure it will all melt by week’s end after looking at your forecast. Nice carrots and sunset. Put our furnace on last night for the first time this season.
Good Morning Marlene. Looks like you got a major dumping of snow, will it stay or be gone within a day or so? Nothing like that around here, sure we’ve had a hit of frost and I’ve had to move my orange tree into the garage and it’ll come inside the house today but there have been many sunny days.
We are all settled in now and have been loading up all the outside feeders to see what we can attract to our yard, miss all the critters we had before. My brother Jeff&I put his wine that he made for his 70th down beside my retirement wine last Wed.& we’ll finish the season with a dive at Burnstown tomorrow. The Madawaska is cooling down. Can’t get anyone else to buy a dry suit so I hesitate to use it. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving. We All gathered down the Old Perth Road at another brother’s place where niece Hailey put together the whole thing in advance of her taking off for the Far East. She is the one in the whole Family that has the travel bug. Have a great day out there and do you know where your shovel is?
