I’ve been waiting for a rainy day to add a new blog… that’s not happening anytime soon and hasn’t for 2 months. This is becoming a trend, no rain in July and August to speak of. We’ve also been getting lots of 30c+ temperature. So, I have some of my flowers/garden photos to show off, and of course some more wildlife. Being home most of the time gives me ample time to photograph nature.
Plants & Vegetable Garden: This year I grew peas, beans, carrots, beets, onions, spinach, kale, potatoes, radishes, lettuce, tomatoes (in greenhouse), tried cucumbers, parsley and chives.
Wildlife Photos – July 5-August 22: This summer we had a small weasel family and a yellow bellied marmot plus all the amazing birds. I’ve never seen a gray grasshopper, had to ask bug guide for assistance on the name of that one.

Lovely photos and lots of pretty flowers. Waldy’s rock garden really looks great. Your vegetable garden looks so tidy and lots of produce to come. We, too, have canola fields north of us and they sure do look pretty when in bloom.
Great job. Rain is sure to come soon!
