Now is the time for the Hawks to nest. Our Swainson’s Hawk has 3 little ones (that I can see). It was a little tricky trying to find the best view to take photos. They made a new nest this year, not so close to the road. Both parents are busy feeding them.
We’ve only seen 1 fawn so far which is unusual. Can you find him/her hiding in the grass? There’s lots of baby robins bouncing about. This one looks a little grumpy! The owlets are doing very well. We had a coyote very close to our house (sounded like he was in the bedroom with us, he was so loud) one nite, so the next day I went out to make sure all 3 owlets were still with us and they were all sitting on the old swing in the trees.

Oh those baby hawks are amazing! Never seen babies before. See all we learn from you. Glad the coyote never got his teeth into the owlets!
Keep the photos coming!
