Summer has arrived and we didn’t get to see the strawberry moon last nite as it was cloudy!! Looks like it might rain today which is good as it’s getting a bit dry. It was 20C but once the clouds and wind rolled in the temp dropped to 15C!
I’ve been pretty busy doing yard work. My garden and flower beds are coming along nicely. The killdeer have decided to lay their eggs in our lane way again this year. So far there is one egg but she’ll keep adding more. They don’t build a nest, just make an indentation in the gravel. We put cones near it so we don’t accidentally step on it. Our baby owl is still entertaining us. Yesterday there were 3 goldfinches on the feeder and I still see the odd warbler.

Everything is looking good!
We had a tornado watch last night, first ever for us, but it passed by us. Had a bit of a storm but no rain to talk about. Much better weather today without humidty, sunny and windy.
