The young hawks are white. Is this normal? Nice night pics of the deer.
Yes, they are white until their adult feathers grow in.
Morning, who did in the gopher? You take good pictures, while I have a digital I’ll never like it as much as my 35 mm’s[3]. One more sleep and we are out of here for McCauley Lake. Started loading the Suburban yesterday and hooked up the boat. Have to drop by my daughter’s place this morning and pick up her diving gear, have had to stay on her about her diving. Don’t want her to get away from it too long and besides, a “bad” example for Moira, my granddaughter. I’m going to get her breathing on my octopus[the back up reg]. We’ve got some cool weather passing through with rain and thunder storms way west of here but it will be moving out tonight/tomorrow so that is fine. Have a good summer Marlene. Curious, what ever became of the mallard hen who tried to take over the doghouse?
