Time to share more of my amazing opportunities to take wildlife and nature photographs. Last night we were treated to a spectacular aurora borealis. We were amazed to see the huge wasp nest high in our tree when the leaves started to fall. We were fortunate to be outside when 100’s of Sandhill Cranes flew over our house. The honey bees have been draining the bird bath constantly. We’ve had to replenish the water 4-5 times a day. They seem to only start doing this in the fall.

I’ve never seen the aurora borealis – it is amazing! It’s good to keep the water shallow or have a rock like you do so the bees don’t drown. Like us, the bees really need their water. I never knew that. Beautiful sunsets and lovely photos. Thanks.
