This morning on my way into town there were 2 Bald Eagles taking an interest in a dead Skunk that was on the highway near the St. Mary River. (The Skunk didn’t stink.) Taken with my dash cam. A sign of spring to see Bald Eagles. It’s 5.9 C – a lot of melting going on.

Well good morning, I’m looking at a sunny morning here and it is the first one in 5 days. We’ve had 3 days of continuous snow albeit light, it comes to about 7to8 inches. Nothing compared to what you seem to get out there but nice to see all the same. Spring like conditions had settled in here a few weeks ago and the sap was running and my brother had started to boil it down. 27degF now but I’m sure it will go higher. I think your comment about the skunk is funny, never knew one not to stink! Your view of the road to town, did trees ever grow there? Barren looking. I have my grand-daughter with us as we do every Friday/Saturday and I just noticed that instead of cartoons she is more interested in a show called “Say yes to the dress”. And I think to myself, hey she is just 9 and what the heck is going on? Diane&I are busy now with all the seniors heading off to airports here and in Montreal for their holidays. Started doing these runs in Feb and they’ll run into April before slowing down and a return to normal, 15 hrs instead of 70+/month. I see Viviane winters some in Florida. There is quite a group of Cdn’s down there, I know several from where I worked that do that. I like to go south for a week or two but I would miss the snow too much. Diane wouldn’t agree though. Well have a good weekend&catch you later.
No, no trees except around homesteads where people have planted them. Sometimes when skunks get run over, they don’t stink but they usually do!!
Great stuff!
